The cover of the bible is leather with raised corners and gold embossing, and
it is in good shape (see images). The back looks just like the front. The
binding, of the pages to the cover, is coming apart and needs to be repaired.
There are a total of 1528 pages and 2000 illustrations, many of them in color.
It appears that all of the pages are in place.
Four births are recorded on the inside front fly leaf, and there are
nine photos of family members in the photo section in the back of the bible.
If you are related to these families, the pictures alone should be worth buying this bible.
Even though there are pages for family records, none were entered on these pages.
There is a marriage certificate (unused) in the family records section (see photo)
