This son whose name is Jonathon, his father wrote in the family bible just before leaving for the army, married Dorcas (Tabithy) Cody daughter of Joseph and Mary (Whitney) Cody and came into Ontario Co in or about the year 1797. His children were Jonathon, Bebe, William, Alfred, Mary (Polly), Pamela, Joseph, Shubel. Alfred, Mary and Shubel died young. Joseph died a young man in Ontario Co. Johathon in Panama, Chau(tauqua) Co in 1855, Pamela Wellman died in Ashville (Chautauqua County) in 1874. (Birth dates are given for Bebe, William, Pamela, and Joseph).
